I had an amazing stay at a hotel right by the park. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the furnishings were comfortable. I couldn't believe how close we were to the entrance of the Uda Walawe national park, just a short two-minute walk away. The host was incredibly helpful and even went out of his way to get us a new router when we needed better WiFi for our teenagers. He also arranged a safari for us and our driver was exceptional, making our six-hour experience unforgettable with sightings of elephants, reptiles, and various bird species. Plus, the traditional rice and curry meal prepared for us was one of the best home-cooked meals we had during our entire trip. The host was also accommodating when we needed to shorten our stay by a day. I highly recommend this hotel for its fantastic location, excellent customer service, and great safari experience at Uda Walawe national park.
